Found in a Com-box...

Sweet.

I [...] remember a little boy (about 6 or 7) asking our teacher, a French nun, if Joan of Arc was Noah's daughter. "No," answered the good sister, "Noah's ark was made of wood and St Joan of Arc was Maid of Orléans."  - Michael PS

Terry like that.

  1. Ohh..my favorite of Joan of Arc also. I always remember the first time I saw it at the Met, I just stared at it for I don't know how long. I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. I love it how the saints in the painting are kind of hidden. Are we having a vision like her or is it a mirage?
I get there about once a year and still stare.

    1. I too love how the saints appear to her - and her face is beautiful.
