Ugliest Christmas stamp in history...

The worst.

No wonder people don't send cards any more.

  1. Uh...I kind of like it. Does that mean I'm an art ignoramus? Seems kind of appropriate after the election. Mary and Joseph had to run away with Jesus to Egypt. Too bad there's no place for us to run. Well, actually I guess I need to run to the tabernacle more often.

    1. Nope - you are not an art ignoramus - we just disagree. That is cool.

  2. I was surprised that there isn't the traditional Madonna & Child this year.

    1. I wish we did big European style stamps.

What is it you don't like about it?

    1. Mostly the color and the fact it is post-Christmas - though it is part of the Christmas season and story. I prefer images of the nativity or the Madonna and child for Christmas.

  4. Baby Jesus, his mother and father and a sunset. I'm alright with it.

There are way uglier stamps: http://usstampgallery.com/view.php?id=ff3d3275e74dcbac2d970eea9ad779212cadda17&st=&ss=&t=19&s=52&syear=&eyear=

  5. Ah well, I can understand disliking the color. But, technically, we shouldn't even be discussing Christmas, right? We haven't even been through Advent yet!
