DeleteI don't know why Cher's feathers are so ruffled over Romney. He's hardly the poster boy reactionary social conservative she seems to paint him as being. It would be more like ACT 2 OF STATUS QUO with a quick change of set scenery and costumes.

DeleteServus - it's not Romney per se, but the fact that most social conservatives will be holding their noses and voting for him, since it's better to have someone indifferent to their beliefs than someone who actively hates them.

DeleteWell, the country is so tiny, yet there are tons of famous Armenians in the US and Europe. I guess the diaspora has done well from themselves, like the Jews. I wonder what E. Michael Jones thinks, haha!
DeleteBtw, almost all Armenian names end with -ian: Kevorkian, Kardashian, Yosarian (the character in Catch 22), etc.

Her character - the whole family in the film - reminds me of my best friends family and her mom. I spent a good part of my young adult life in their kitchen - and every Sunday was like the ending of the film.
