May 17 – During his commencement speech at Notre Dame, Obama deceived listeners into thinking he wants a conscience clause, promoted embryonic stem cell research and misstated his pro-abortion record.
There is absolutely no way anyone with a conscience can approve, or much less excuse that record.

If he had shown up at a Traditional Tridentine Mass Catholic School, he would have been ridden out of town on a rail.
I understand at the Notre Dame fiasco, the Eucharistic Ministers/Lectors/Associate Pastors/Gay Ministries Liturgical Priestettes fought over who would give him Holy Communion in the hand.
I wonder who won?

It is important to point out Holy Mother Church does not lend it's support to these types of political leaders.
It is heretical, disobedient Princes of the Church that do so.

Not only is he simply a "pro-choice" candidate, who could be licitly voted for under certain circumstances (let's say the other guy is open to abortion AND gay marriage AND want to make Jews wear hats and have their businesses shut down immediately), but Obama is literally the most extreme supporter of abortion I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone who thinks the HHS mandating churches and anyone to pay for chemical abortion will not lead to them forcing us to pay for surgical abortion, I don't know what will. I asked a friend of mine who is ambivalent about the whole issue (I wanna smack him haha) what is to stop this, and he said that the ONLY reason they won't do that now is because about half of the public is against surgical abortion, whereas chemical abortion and opposition to morning after pills is found only among religious conservatives.
I.e. Too many people are against surgical abortion for emotionals reasons (it looks like a baby...), and that is the ONLY reason why they haven't gone further. Yet. But they will - this president loves abortion.
Pablo, most of us who come here are "Novus Ordo" Catholics, as is the Holy Father, all Cardinals, and almost all bishops who are not fake bishops. We really don't appreciate the smears. Not all "Novus Ordo parishes" are as you say. I encourage you to come to south Louisiana, an in most places you will find sound orthodoxy solid, faithful young priests.

ReplyDeleteYou are in effect telling me it is wrong to trust my spiritual director / confessor because he is wrong for obeying tge Magisterium.
Pablo, if it okay with you I will continue to follow the pope and my confessors. You would probably hate them because they are not traditionalists nor do they hate Jews, but they are solid.
