Whatever happened to Rosalind Moss?
I used to watch Rosalind Moss on EWTN. I've always liked her.
.
She is now Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God! Congratulations Mother Miriam.
.
Fr. Mark has the story here.
.
Holy things keep happening in the Diocese of Tulsa. Praise and thank God.
I never heard of a nun called Rosalind before. I always thought if one were called that, one would have to change one's name.
Thank you for telling me about this lovely nun. It has given me an interest in her (albeit from an initially self interested reason). I shall now look her up and see what Roslaind's sound like as nuns......Mmmmm..
I always forget that is your name. M. Miriam is a Jewish woman who embraced the fullness of faith in Christ - I like to say it that way rather than referring to her as a convert. Salvation is from the Jews after all.
From what I know, her theology and spirituality is beautiful and sound - as is Fr. Mark's and Bishop Slattery of course.
I used to email with a friend of Fr Mark's, when I first joined blogger. He stopped blogging and emailing suddenly. I hope he is ok. I do worry over Our Lady's sons.
Oh - I am So Happy to see her picture and hear this news ! I always loved hearing her on EWTN. Doesn't she look beautiful ? the glow of women religious is so warming. thank you for this news. LEH
Nazareth Priest could simply be swamped. I can't speak for him, but for me, I simply don't comment if I have to login using Google. That's not for anyone to know. It's Terry's blog, and he has every right to filter as he sees fit, but I choose not to put my real name to public knowledge.
I had considered dropping this blog from my bookmarks if I were unable to post with a "handle." I've done this with a couple of other blogs.
I am still here Larry, monitoring but seldom posting! Hi Terry, I have a project in my new church, I am moving the tabernacle from the side (sandwich between the main church & chapel) to the main sanctuary (behind the altar). I will send you a photo of the present arrangement.
Wait, are Fr. Gary V. and nazareth priest the same person?
Both of you always have great things to say - but I always thought nazareth priest was a little dog with a monastic habit - at least that's what his picture looks like :)
Random Friar - I use google, but I don't think my real name shows up.I could be wrong - can;t you change the settings to where you can keep most of that stuff private?
She worked with my niece at Catholic Answers years ago and was originally supposed to found her Order in St. Louis, but that did not work out (for reasons still unknown or explained to the faithful here). Stuff happens.
Felicitations & many blessings be upon Mother Miriam!

When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf Heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself, and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featur'd like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least:
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee,--and then my state
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings'. - Sonnet 29
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you and for those who do not, especially the enemies of the Church and those recommended to you.
Holy Name of Jesus
Arise O Lord and let your enemies be scattered, and let those that hate you flee before you!"

I'm against it!
Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.
Show us your face and we shall be saved. "Each soul is the object of My special love. That is why I am so grateful to those who are resourceful and bringing back sinners to Me. Keep this in mind then. I gave My life for them in the most atrocious torture, for these poor beloved ones. A humble repentance, and they are already on My heart. So speak gently to them. Speak with tenderness. A brusque remark could drive them farther away." - He and I

But most likely, yeah, we come and go.
Oh, and I've met Sister a couple of times back when she was Rosalind Moss. Nice as can be, smart, and just good people. God bless her in her vocation!

Merc - Nope - Fr. Gary isn't the same as Nazareth Priest. 2 different priests.
