Due to a lack of interest.
.
I'm a little skeptical however.
.
What?

  3. Hey then--I'll stir up one..about those of us who ride our motorcycles to Mass :)

I actually got some NICE comments this morning :) And no one said anything about my "helmet hair" :)

There were three bikes parked in the parking lot this morning...nice morning for a ride.

Thanks be to God for quieting the hurricane and reducing the possible damage and death to the East Coast...that you for hearing our prayers.

Please pray for a parish member Bill--elderly gentleman who is in the hospital with not long to live...he helped me lots with my stained glass work. I will visit him tomorrow in the hospital. His lovely windows will forever grace our church.

  4. You are so brave, Sara. I would be terrified of riding a motorcyle, lol. It is a wonderful thing that we were spared more destruction. Deo gratias. I will certainly remember your friend. I start work tomorrow, w/ a raise :)

  6. Terry--I do LITTLE stained glass projects...it is something that I enjoy doing and wish I had more time to do...Bill gave me a wonderful pattern for doing little stained glass angels...I donate a set each year for our annual silent auction at work...the money goes for our annual charity work. I took a couple of classes in doing beveled glass and etching glass, and designed some glass and mirror insets for my sis-in-laws bathroom cabinets...that was fun. My favorite thing I like doing is making little boxes to put items like rosaries in. I have a rose pattern I really like doing. This is somethignI like doing during long cold winters when I hate going outside.

So many hobbies..so little time..but I better be careful what I wish for..I sure dont' want to lose my job :)

Maria--prayers your way for your new job tomorrow!! Glad you were spared significant damage...the pictures I'm seeing on CNN are sobering...and I've ridden motorcycles all my life so they aren't scary to me... :) Although riding a motor scooter in Turkey was a trip...that was definitely taking your life in your hands :)

  7. Sara--I don't think anyone at my parish would criticize bike riders. One of our priests rides a motorcycle!
