Blogurgitate

blogurgitate:  to re-post articles previously posted to a web log, as in redux;  copy and paste/assemble a post from another blog, website, news portal, sometimes adding original editorial content; continually writing about the same crap everyone else does.

    Terry,

Those of us who blogurgitate or as you also label it, repost "dumb-ass crap, may have a purpose different from yours for maintaining a blog. Before the Internet I had files full of clippings of things that I found interesting, beautiful or true. When I needed information, inspiration or a quote, I knew where to find it. The blog may be open to others, but for some of us it has the same purpose.

What is curious is the number of people who feel a need to criticize others on the Internet. If I invited someone into my home who felt compelled to tell me and the world how poorly I had decorated it, I would probably suggest that they not visit.

  8. Anonymous - I will not allow strangers in my house - neither do I welcome anonymous commenters - I delete them if they don't at least have the good manners to sign a name. (Perhaps you might consider adopting a pseudonymn as one does when writing a romance novel? How about "Miss Prickly" or something?) Nevertheless, I will keep your comment posted since it enhances my dumb ass post.

I'm amazed anyone actually took this seriously.
