  1. If you are divorced but not remarried or co-habiting with anyone, it's OK to receive Holy Communion,. isn't it? The post you link to doesn't clarify this.

  2. shadowlands - if you click on the first link in Terry's post, it'll take you to my blog. I've included a link to Arbp Sheehan's letter, in which he states the following:

"Please remember that divorce still is no reason to refrain from Holy Communion as long as they have not entered into another marriage or sinful relationship. Many Catholics are confused on this point."

    I hope that's helpful!

  10. shadowlands, I think Terry's meds just wore off. He gets a bit ineffable when that happens.

Hey Terry, btw, I've posted something a bit controversial on my blog, will you give it a glance over. I'm off to bed now, as it's nearly the next day here, so if you comment I won't see it until I wake up.

  13. I have a complaint filed with the Apostolic Nuncio concerning Bishop Thomas Olsread's (Phoenix Arizona Diocese) approval of co-habitating couples being Godparents.

The complain also alludes to other abuses of the sacraments.

Archbishop Sheehan has jurisdiction over the Phoenix Diocese.

A Bishop or Priest should not be praised for simply fulfilling his Priestly Ministry.

I believe there are many Bishop's pretending to be traditional Catholics simply because they would like to become Cardinals.

A Priest is never allowed to approve divorce. The Priest may approve a separation when lives are in danger, but every married couple should always follow the Priest's orders.
