Happy Birthday Pier Giorgio.

“To live without faith, without a patrimony to defend, without a steady struggle for truth, that is not living, but existing.” - Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.  April 6, 1901 - July 4, 1925

  1. Just to let you know I did write an article on him. This article is entitled "A Breath of Pure Air", referring to his love for skiing. Yes, this is part of a series on Lay Saints.

I can't find my copy right now, but there is a lovely book written by his sister. It's called "Pier Giorgio Frassati: Man of the Beatitudes." It really goes into loving depths to the heart of the man, and really gives you a good picture.
