Pedophilia a ‘sexual orientation’ experts tell Parliament.

When homosexuality was declassified as a disorder by the American Psychiatric Association in 1973, it was for all intents and purposes subsequently labelled a sexual orientation - a natural variant of human sexuality. Now experts in Canada are arguing pedophilia is not a disorder but a sexual orientation.

Remember when I said gay marriage is actually anti-gay? Marriage is so ordinary, right? And who wants to be confined to an institution - marriage? Besides, it is much too bourgeois for the avante garde homosexual. A lesbian writer and her interview subjects appear to agree with me - kind of:

So don't fall for the Hollywood hype of "The Kids Are all Right" and "Modern Family". It is just as fake as the family shows of the 1950's, "Ozzie and Harriet" and "Father Knows Best".
I wonder if some day in the future, the APA will label heterosexuality as a disorder...
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree - I don't think the gay activists pushing for marriage rights are all that interested in equality for equality's sake - I think they just want to destroy any and all institutions that highlight just how truly disordered they are. They aren't about joining the Culture of Life as much as they are about killing it.
And the sad thing is - normal every day folks in the Church are falling for the feint.

Terry: I have to laugh, I was so sheltered that in 1970, halfway through high school, I did not even know homosexuals existed; however, once freed from the convent and introduced to sex, drugs and rock and roll, my ignorance was corrected, ahem.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I was advised by the Medical Director of the psych unit (I am a clinical social worker) where I was employed, that when documenting my histories I needed to identify homosexual men as "gay" and not homosexual--Medical Director being a "gay psychiatrist:. I thought, wow, we have certainly come a long way since the DSM declassified homosexuality as a disorder.

Another big "push" behind this I believe are FLDS and other fundamentalist polygamous groups who believe that it is their "right" to "spiritually marry" ie have sex with 10-12 year old girls "because God commands it." Right now they can be busted for either rape or pedephilia..no judge has the cojones to go after them for polygamy since they aren't "legally" married..

Does anybody else find it incongruous that a group that has such high incidences of addictions, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, etc. calls itself "gay?" I don't know how they were allowed to steal the word that also is a personal name from normal usage.

They're trying to subvert morality and redefine sin. But they're still sinning. And they know it which is why they're so angry. They can't fool God. A sin by any other name is still a sin.
