  4. The right hand needs to be worked on.

If it looked as perfect as the left, it would be a masterpiece.

Maybe he could use both hands?

Otherwise, it is a journeyman work of art.

  5. Mr. Terry,

I wish you would have warned me a picture of that stupid cat is also on the art page below the boy's picture.

I have a cat just like that, except this one is white that comes around the house every now and again.

He's a weird cat, and has that same look.

Once I trapped a buddy of his, and he came to me and asked me to let him go.

I told him no cats on my property anymore, and I would release him.

The infestation of cats stopped, but he still visits.

    I guess he doesn’t know he’s a cat.

I’m glad there is no such thing as reincarnation.

You captured the attitude of my cat well in your cat picture.

  7. I don't like most modern dress religious paintings, but this is the exception. Stellar!

  8. Oh, Terry,it is exquisite. The eyes are beautiful. So open. It is modern without defining a 'moment' in time...

  10. I love it. Perhaps this could be the beginning of a series- modern Jesus, in various stages of his life, offering his Sacred Heart. That I'd like to see.

  11. This is the sort of "modern" art that I see as a true progression towards ultimate beauty.

I agree, I think the best word to describe this is HEARTWARMING.

  13. Very nice. How long did it take you to paint this?

  14. Great job here my friend. Some of your best Above all (and I know there's probably a story behind the likeness) I like his face. His is a good face.

I enjoy the fact that he is not portrayed with his eyes looking up or in some other overly used expression.

Imagine this was really Him. What would I say to Him? He seems so one of us in this piece, yet beneath the commonplace appearance, "immensity cloistered."

  21. I love it! I love the red jacket (I know you painted it that color for a reason) and I love his hair - just like any ordinary boy! His expression is perfect too.
