45 million Americans mentally ill.

I know!
.
More than 45 million Americans, or 20 percent of U.S. adults, had some form of mental illness last year, and 11 million had a serious illness, U.S. government researchers reported on Thursday.  [...]  The survey found that 23.8 percent of women had some form of mental illness, compared with 15.6 percent of men.
.
A disproportionate share of these have blogs as well as accounts with other social networks.

  1. Well, the way "mental illness" is defined these days, it's hardly any surprise.

  3. We were talking about that statistic at work yesterday. Since one in five Americans are mentally ill, and there are five of us in our department, on any given work day it is somebody's turn to be nuts. The point of disagreement was that we can't all pick Monday; it is someone's responsibility to try and keep the place sane!

  5. If only they'd been aborted this burden wouldn't be presently placed on American society.

  6. I don't find the statistic odd. I consulted with a client for two years and only found out the second year that one of the most erratic guys was insane. Before that I thought he was just a guy being an idiot guy.

  8. The people that cite statistics are in the business and use them to get more money out of government.

  9. Psychology and Psychiatry deal with the law of averages.

Are insane people capable of asking for forgiveness?

    What is insanity?

On ABC News, Diane Sawyer reported that in China, in the last thirty years, 400,000,000, four hundred million children have been aborted or contracepted out of existence.

Our attitude towards Islam is one of tolerance, and celebration of diversity, peace and love, while that of Islam has been to kill, in the most atrocious manner possible, us infidels, since 622 A.D. see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYbaln3Uqfc&feature=player_embedded

Women walk around us everywhere, with chemical contraception somewhere in or on their bodies, another murder of the innocents, and we completely ignore them doing so, and decry a significantly smaller amount of abortions carried out by evil people. It is right we should cry out against abortion, but how many of those protesting are using contraception, the same thing as an abortion?

I could go on and on about true insanity, but people would choose to ignore the Truth, just like the Jews that ignored the Truth up to the point of committing Deicide.

Next time you think someone else is crazy, look upon yourself and see what you have in you, on you, and around you.

  10. This reminds me of an old Quaker saying that obviously needs a little re-working for modern times;

"Everybody's queer but me and thee, and even thee's a little queer."

  12. Um, this is what I get for commenting on priestly scandals on your blog.

I do have a chronic mental illness, but fortunately you did not use my picture. Thank you for that.

I have always thought 100% of the people I know are mentally ill -

Some people find that offensive. Who knows?
