  2. I always suspected that fine fashion was painful. Now I know.

And Happy Labor Day to you too.

  3. It's painful for my blog administrator. It's expensive.

    Ugly is free.

  4. Oh, I almost forgot! For your next painting - "Ode to joy #2 (- of a series of 5) I suggest a sofa size canvas (like a starving artist) and you paint a giant organic salad- like a Monet - all blurry and everything but don't forget the tomatos for contrast. You can call it- "Lunch with Cathy of Alex"

Have you painted Pat Sajack yet?!

  5. Ah yes..the fall fashions are here..

And it's COLD already here in Utah.. 55 degrees in the middle of the day...bbbrrr.

Most of the year my style is what I lovingly call "Eskimo Lite"..even in summer as my place of employment keeps the A/C cranked..even though it is a U.S. government building the powers that be have determined that it is cheaper to continually run the A/C than to spend the several millions of dollars to replace the system, plus the cost of relocating all of us while the work is being done...

Happy Labor Day to all!! (This is a US holiday)

  6. LOL!!
    That's K. Turner, yeah?
Never saw the movie, but would sure like to after this "trailer"!
No comment on the "trad fashion"...no comment!! (I got in trouble over at "Kat's" for saying something I probably should have kept to myself...live and learn!)

  8. You can't really get in trouble with Kat or me Father.

  9. Thanks, Terry!LOL!
And it was NOT Kat who "corrected me"...and the guy who did it was very kind (and concerned about the fact that the internet is ever so available to those who want to condemn others for comments...kudos to him).
Just a good lesson to "think it over", yeah?

  10. It's true Father, You really can't get in trouble over here. Mr.Terry always unblocks us. He's like Ol' Saint Nick (Except for the Jolly part. hahahahaha) he loves us all and whether we've been naughty or nice but beware, if he's in a bad mood sometimes he bites - more like blitzen.

I'm still thinking about your Ode to joy series- painting #3. Hmm..

  11. Perhaps Trad women are dressing more to the movie “Children of the Corn”.

The more uglied down, the more holy.

There has got to be something wrong with a guy that marries a woman that wears her great grandmother’s clothes.

Being Catholic doesn’t mean a woman has to stop being beautiful, or joyous.

The film is "Serial Mom" John Water's attempt at mainstream acceptability.

Please keep all of the snow to yourself. Enjoy. Thanks :)

As a mother to eight, crabbiness is a necessary component of good parenting. (hahahaha) And I have an awesome "No nonsense" detection system- Like a burgular alarm. My children have not broke my will to live yet though they've came close a couple of time.

  17. You know, on second thought, my Great-grandma and Grandma dressed pretty snazzily...from the pictures I've seen...
You don't have to look something like "the cat dragged in" (no offense, Terry!!)...
just cover up and be 'day-cent' (as the Irish say!)...
And as for metro-sexual males...for heaven's sake...quite wearing skin-tight whatevers, lose the tank tops and dress like a man (in Church, that is)...Sheesh!
Sr. Petra will have to be sowing all kinds of cover-ups for our Oratory unless both sexes get a clue (no, really, I'm exaggeratin'...people are very respectful here)...
    As for the "white shoes"....?
    Get a life, honey.
And quit smacking the hell outta that poor little girl...save it for the bloke who commits sacrilege against the Holy Eucharist (that I would applaud...oops!)
