Everything must come to a halt...

I've sat for two, maybe three days, unable to paint.

I did some sketches...

Nothing.

Everything seems to have come to a halt.

I have nothing to say either.

Wednesday is my retreat day:

Adoration.

  1. I certainly get those moments. They can be quite debilitating. People who don't know think this is frivolous, but you have to have a measure of courage to paint.

I snapped my pics. I still need to figure out how I'm going to do this. Good luck:0)

    PS
I've always known the paining I wanted to draw after I've seen somebody else draw it.

Oh, I love that picture! One thing I've missed being so sick, is your blog! Nothing is more important than being with our Lord, oh, how lovely to go be with God today!

  6. "Everything seems to have come to a halt."I can completely relate to that from my own experience.

I just learned that the painting's name is The Blind Beggar and now it breaks my heart. I couldn't take my eyes off it earlier, when I thought it was of a tired little boy just catching a nap, and now it hurts to look at him and think of other little children who have to beg. (Even his watchdog isn't very vigilant. Vulnerable boy!)
