Nuns on the run...

.
It's the talk of the Catholic Internet - the LCWR cover-up of nymphomaniac nuns.  I for one just can't bring myself to believe it!  I think these poor women are being framed....
.
That's just what Rush Limbaugh said.
.
Remember Peggy Noonan's op-ed sometime back, where she said saving the Church would require a woman's touch?

  1. Thanks for the link, Terry.

I would be more inclined to think it was a frame-up job, except for the fact that several prominent liberals are pointing fingers, too - like Frances Kissling, Fr Doyle and SNAP.

I hope it isn't true - but you know, everybody sins.

  2. I meant this to publish tomorrow - I have a follow up post but I wanted to show a clip from the Magdalene Sisters - when that came out everyone screamed "anti-Catholic!" And now this.

I linked because I love how you used the Noonan reference. Gosh - what a joke.

    God bless!

  3. Priests aren't the only "culprits" here...sorry...don't want to offend anyone.
I went to public school all twelve years...went to Catholic college and thought my head would explode with that absolute crap I saw the "the Sisters" involved with; and my teachers, they were...Jesus, Mary and Joseph!!
I was more Catholic in public school than going to a frickin' Catholic college (in Iowa...the "most Catholic city" to boot!)...
I believe it; sorry...I'm a religious; I love consecrated religious; the cloistered ones...the apostolic sisters, well, let's just say they have to prove themselves.
Cloistered religious somehow, not always, were not infected by the "crap"...both Pre and Post VII.
I've got innard "scars" to prove it:<)!
    I love the Carmelite Nuns, the Poor Clare Nuns...won't say where, but they helped to save me from insanity...I looked in vain for a male community of cloistered religious...even in Iowa, Illinois, the Midwest (in the late '70s you wouldn't find much);
religious life is in great need, here, folks, please pray!

  4. If this is accurate (and somehow I think it is), the Irish Church deserves to go through all kinds of hell and beyond for the horrid "dysfunction" of the Church that was lived, betrayed and imposed upon the faithful since the Potato Famine...it is a horrid Jansenism that is far from the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Catholic Church...I hope this is a true distortion of our Catholic Faith...otherwise...not only a reparation but a true reformation of the Catholic Faith must happen in Ireland, in England and in the USA...Jesus, mercy!

Terry: "I for one just can't bring myself to believe it. I think these poor women are being framed..."

Oh please, Terry, are you that far gone into a dream world regarding the Roman Catholic Church as an institution? The extensive published research on documented cases and testimonies in Ireland show, if anything, much worse stuff than this. The evidence is out there for anyone to see. No "framing" needed.
