No need to be shy - like my friend said, there are plenty of contractions to go around and I firmly believe that we should ask God for what we need, no matter how insignificant it seems.

Praying for you all and adding your special intentions to my list, including WC's daughter Joy and Vincenzo's special intention.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine prayed for my daughter (who was adopted) to get a sibling during her labor a year ago to this very day. Less than five months later, after 7 years of unexplained infertility (and less than two weeks after venerating a relic of St. Anne, co-patron of my parish) we found out we were expecting!
Right then and there, I realized that the birth of a child can (and should be) and amazingly powerful time to pray for others.I am so humbled and grateful that He has given me the opportunity to do it.
Imagine if every Catholic woman laboring today offered just part of her labor for the Holy Father's intentions...
