Oh, so dads could still be charged with murder if they kill the baby. How civilized.

Well, having had children myself, directly after giving birth the woman is in a major hormonal imbalance. While I don't think it's great that any child should die, I think there could be circumstances where the mother might not be in her "right" mind were she to kill her own child after birth.
ReplyDeleteOuch, don't stone me! I'm just saying...some not to stable persons, may be driven to great instability after birth, and may not have full culpability for their actions. Ouch--stop that :)

ReplyDeleteInfanticide is murder, and so it should be prosecuted as such. Infanticide is deplorable, but it’s no worse than killing a baby inside the womb, say one day before it is born, or two days, or three days or four days…
