Kind of like Hyacinth's candlelight suppers...

I wonder if Sheridan is invited?

  1. Is that the Royal Dolton china? But I don't see any pink periwinkles!

  2. No, Sheridan is helping to re-build Romania, knee bandage and all.

  3. All I noticed is the pictures are too small for the wall.

  4. Terry, why don't you put up a wishlist? I'm sure people would send you stuff. Paintbrushes. Chalk. Toothpaste. Oregano. An optic mouse for your PC. A hand-knitted sweater. Fish sauce. Handwarmers. Yankee Candles. Sister Wendy art books.

    You know, the necessities.

  5. Actually I want a web cam so I can break into show biz on youtube - singing in signs - or even a comedy hour maybe - and then I would put up a donate button - my version of pay for view. (I could have you on as a guest.)

  6. Terry, that's beautiful. I'll talk about gays and Latin.

Might you also create a YouTube news channel, construct a set with a faux-brick wall and artificial plants, dress up and talk like Raymond Arroyo, and call it "AR News?"

I'd like to see the entire cast in character at the dinner....
that's real family life...no one does what Hyacinth (me/mothers:>) want them to do!:>
I have a Chesterton quote about the unruliness/beauty of family (life being lived vs planned sterility) but I have to go plan a summer garden fete.

    Seems kinda mean.

  9. Seems less mean than an honest and humorous assesment of extortion!

  10. I'm sorry Michael, that wasn't my intention. I genuinely find the posts amusing - not laughing at anyone - just imagining how fun it must be to get gifts all of the time and to be such a good cook. It reminds me of another British sit-com. But thanks for the correction - I must be more discreet in my sense of humor.

    God bless.

  11. Michael - with all due respects, Terry is not being mean. He is just "reporting the news."

I have wondered often about that whole situation and I'm sure I'm not alone. It strikes me as highly irregular.

  12. LOL! When I have Auntie Adrienne, Ter, Ray, Adoro, Angela, Laura, Christine, Vincenzo, Swissmiss, Tom in Vegas, the Hadleybloggers, Geometricus, Dan F and all my blog friends(like the Academy Awards don't be insulted if I did not mention you explicitly!) over for dinner we are totally doing a live song and dance number that I'll post on my blog! I'm thinking "Gather us In"!!!!

I have often wondered about it myself. I even asked (on this blog) if that priest was incardinated in a diocese. It seemed odd to me. However, it seems unfair to post the exact same photos that appear on the other blog, and then welcome comments and laughter. I don't get that. But I don't have much of a sense of humor, so sorry if I have offended anyone.

I've been absolutely obsessed by "Gather Us In" these past two days. I'll have to seen you what I sent my brother last night. It's too much to post here.
