Why some folks want nothing to do with Christianity.

  1. This isn't the nice Mr.Fred, that you would like to have in your neighborhood. This Mr.Fred (Phelps) pickets funerals of gay folks, (I don't know how he knows who is gay ,and who isn't. .)
My husband has some very course things to say about him, but he doesn't cuss. I am the only sailor in our house.
My husband - Paul likes most everyone so this is unusual . Paul will not tolerate bigotry or hatefulness of any kinds towards anybody .
My question for my husband has been this, "is it right to protest gay stuff at all?" I have seen some of their little get togethers on the net. ,and they are appalling. It terrifies me to think that they could have children at these events. I won't enclose any pictures.
I would never be allowed to prance around topless, or engaging in lewd public behavior. How is this legal? Both groups cause me concern..

As you can tell by Fred's wikipedia bio, he has trouble getting along with most everybody. We Kansans are embarrassed by him.

I wish that Fred would just simmer down. In Kansas we can have abortions up until delivery. Our Catholic governor is very good friends with our late term abortionist Doctor George Tiller.

I hesitate to say that perhaps Phelps could help protest abortion instead , but in reality he would probably hurt us. So I say, "you keep up the good work there Fred." Um , and "hell is forever."

Our Archbishop, and our Governor, are often butting heads. He's the most wonderful Archbishop ever!

  2. Lovely.

Someone also needs to tell that "lady" that wearing the U.S. flag as an article of clothing is not appropriate.

  4. These individuals are the ones who contaminate the pro-life message with their hate and filth. That’s partly the reason why the irreligious embrace the “choice” side of the issue.

  5. BTW, didn't this clan get sued for x number of millions? It might still be under adjudication.

  6. Terry ,She is probably Fred's dear sweet mother.
Only the blind love of a devoted mother could support such activities .(Fred is 78)

What a great cover for Satan in disguise.
A tiny ,frail little old lady with ninja shoes, wearing a bad boy trench coat, and terminator glasses , when actually she could kick your butt clear to Cleveland , and her sign looks more like an invitation than a threat don't you think ?

  8. Yeah, but Angie - you have to admit the photo is pretty funny. Can you imagine dedicating your life to such activity? I still think that is my grandma in the rain coat.

  9. Dear Brothers, and Sisters in Christ, I have stated how I feel about Fred.
I don't know anyone who sides with Fred. We Kansans think that he's a pain. In fact he is usually ignored now in Kansas- after years of exhausting the news media.

Remember back in the late 1960's and 70's when couples began to live together. Good christian folks never said anything to them ,oh ,we gossiped about them ,but we treated them with charity ,and love. We didn't confront them. Where did that get us?
I believe that Fred is hateful, and should never picket funerals, but do we have an obligation to stand up against some of the "gay" stuff that is being spewn our way? I do love the sinner, but hate the sin.
How far are they allowed to push?
Have any of you seen a Pride day in San Fransisco lately. Let me just say. I have learned that my views are the minority ,and I am very frightened. I think that God is either a complete joke OR he is going to set us all straight. I believe in the latter ,and it's not going to be funny at all.
