The waiting room...

We are all waiting for the big one.
.
Yesterday's quake in California confirmed it - I'm not the only one waiting for the next promised big one. Not just in California, but anywhere in the U.S. - we are a country on high anxiety alert - which explains why the press made a huge deal of a moderate quake that did very little damage.
.
A list of the most popular "big ones" many people probably are waiting for:
.
Another 911.
.
Any horrendous act of terrorism, but especially something nuclear - although it must be localized.
.
Another, bigger Katrina.
.
A mega volcano in Yosemite.
.
Any volcanic action in downtown L.A.
.
A tsunami - on any coast of the U.S. (All of these things must happen in the U.S. to impress us for more than a day.)
.
A mega quake anywhere in the U.S. but higher points if it hits someplace such as Memphis where we haven't built buildings to withstand quakes.
.
What most people in the waiting room DO NOT want:
.
No pandemic - no one wants to be sick.
.
No recession/depression - no one wants to be poor.
.
No all out war - no one wants to fight.

  1. The perfect trifecta ,an EMP bomb, so nothing works ,no electricity, then a nuke because their would be no self defense, then disease would come.

Everything would easily follow after that, such as microchipping, and pledging your undying loyality to Satan etc....

I have a little mind, and much greater minds have already thought all of this through.

I am minding my own business, and the rest of the world is going the wrong way ,and I'm unfortunally along for the ride.

  4. Isn't the big volcano supposed to come at Yellowstone Park? Closer to us.

Let's hope no tsunamis on Lake Superior, the north coast.

Don't forget the melting of the Greenland and Antarctic glaciers, raising the level of the oceans by 25 feet or so. Think of all the new geography books that will have to be written!

Or a tiny asteroid or "planet X" collision?

Or a space invasion to end all earthly wars so we can join together as pals and fight off the invaders?

I know that you didn't know this about me Mr.Terry ,but I have a video blog, my L.A. Kid filmed me in a moment of weakness. Remember ice cream is an antidepressant.(I think that I read that on Drudge.) Do you think that I can get it in a pill form or in an I.V. drip. Check me out.

  7. Dear Mr. Terry , I was looking at Cathy_of_Alex's blog this morning,(she has been nominated for blog awards!!) and she was talking about you. She said something about...."Terry Nelson is a Neathanderal","practically primeval" blah, blah, blah, and something about him having a brain the size of a common house fly ,and so forth. She said that she could "think" you under the table too, or was that "drink" oh I can't remember everything. Then she posted your true photo. Check it out.I felt that in the end though she was very supportive of you.

I am not too concerned about what you look like ,that isn't why I log on.

I am curious about your age though ,because the decades that you have lived through would say a lot about you. I am guessing that you were born between 1948 at the earliest through possibly 1960 maybe but I dont think so . I wore a pair of blue earth shoes in 1975.
You looked um, 26-32 in your photo , so I am guessing, 1951ish.

  9. My L.A. daughter came home, and I had just learned of blogs ,when she said "what are you looking at Mom" ? I said "I am looking at this guy's site", and he is Catholic. I am trying to find out if the three days of darkness stuff is for real. She sat down with me ,and said what does Terry Nelson look like ? I said here is his picture, and she started laughing ,and said Mom that's NOT what he looks like. I said sure it is .
(I guess the blond guy is from some movie, I dont watch many movies because I hate movies ,so my kid is going to go make some movies just to tick me off ,and I am not kidding. )
I said sure it's his real photo people don't lie on the internet my dear. Then your profile had Harrison Fords photo , and she laughed "mom that's Harrison Ford!!!" He doesn't look like Harrison Ford mom". I couldn't even see the image.
I seriously need glasses ,but glasses would interfere with my beautiful features.

People dont lie on the internet Mr. Terry.
