Amazingly enough, Terry, I was not involved. I was, however, ACROSS the street working inside the MGM Grand Hotel when the flames and dark smoke erupted. It was quite dramatic. ALL of Monte Carlo's guests and employees were evacuated to the MGM, and emergency crews set up a command post there. Luckily no one was hurt. Now, as for playing a role in talking Joan Rivers into another facelift....:0)
I'm glad you are safe and no one was hurt.
you know, tom, someday half the blog world is going to descend on Las Vegas and you're going to be expected to take us all in.are you ready?just don't put us at the Monte Carlo.likewise, I'm glad you and all who work & reside around the strip are safe.
Me too. Thank God !Well Joan was lucky she wasn't too near the fire - it'd be like the end of the wizard of Oz - 'I'm melting !!' Bless her !I'm sure the fire was started by all those nuns in las vegas causing too much friction and sparks saying their rosaries too quickly ? No ?
Uncle Jim-Thanks for the kind words. I shall set up reservations for anyone interested at the Motel 6 closes to the strip:0)
